I’m excited! I have a web developer who is trying to simplify my Author Brand on the internet.

What’s Now?
Currently I have three websites in operation:
~ THIS BLOG: http://www.dianamj.wordpress.com
~WEBSITE DOT CO DOT UK: www.dianajacksonauthor.co.uk
~ WEBSITE DOT COM: http://www.dianajacksonauthor.com , run by WordPress
and an email address dianajacksonuathor@gmail.com
What Next?
My developer is going to bring all three websites under the the same roof.
http://www.dianajacksonauthor.com
What are the Advantages?
~ my sites are out of date and are difficult to read on a cell phone
~ It is easier for readers to find one site.
~ It is less confusing
~ It is more professional
~ Although my developer is doing the work, I will continue to have access to only ONE site and can update it, if and when I wish to do so
~ This bit I don’t understand is that he’s going to check SEO etc, so that I have optimised visibility, but I trust him and am so grateful. I certainly have no idea how to do this myself!
What prompted me to do this?
Oddly enough, it was one of the numerous AI generated emails touting for business. It was a hard read, and I felt I had been doing everything wrong for 16 years. Then a long serendipitous conversation with a dear friend led me to talk to her son …….
Disadvantages?
Are there any disadvantages?
Well, being creatures of habit we are often nervous of change and have questions running through our minds:
~ Will my current readers still be able to find me?
~ Will I need to update loads of sites and materials?
