I’ve often extolled the virtues of Burntisland, but on our return to Fife from our extended holiday we were quite excited to see changes afoot in our home place of Kinghorn. (I say ‘place’ because I would call it a village, but some are offended by that ~ It is the Royal Burgh of Kinghorn, and proud of it)

Not only has the Chemist been taken over and has been revamped, but Tornado Bagels (delicious breakfasts and the cakes look yummy too, as are the flavoured coffees) and the shop next door which now sells an eclectic mix of wine, gifts, cards and antiques. Brilliant! The excellent butchers shop is over the road next to the CooP and another popular cafe.
Further along is ‘Up She Pops’ and The Crown is as popular and cheerful as ever.
All in all it was a joy to return to. Full of hope and good cheer, especially with our extremely posh Christmas Lights.
Well done Kinghorn!
It’s good to b home.
