Our Dip into the Edinburgh Fringe

We are only 40 minutes away from the capital of Scotland and so decided to pick up a brochure for the Fringe this year.

Two events caught our eye:

Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon at Edinburgh Planetarium, which we went to last Thursday.

This was absolutely fab!

We sat back, listened and watched as 360 degrees surround sound and visuals transported us back to the 1970’s and out into space. I’ve never experienced anything quite like it.

Here’s a taster: Dark Side of the Moon Immersive Dome Experience

On Saturday we are going to the Assembly Rooms on George Street to listen to a tribute to Joni Mitchell ~ I imagine a very different experience.

It has made us realise that, though we are getting older, we want to live life to the full.

Being a vinyl man, my husband was pleased that I still had my original album, which we listened to the following day. It was certainly a one-off.
