Summer Special ~ Interviews with Successful Indie Authors

DO YOU WANT TO HEAR HOW SOME AUTHORS

For the month of August, starting on Monday 3rd August and every Monday after, I will be interviewing successful Indie Authors,

whether they have self published all of their writing career,

sat on the both sides of the fence ~ both Trad and Indie,

or published through a small Independent Press.

I am so pleased to be introducing my first guest Adam Croft this Monday. I first met Adam at a tiny Indie Bookshop in Ampthill Bedfordshire, at the book signing for my first novel Riduna, which was published by Pegasus back on 2009. He, too, had just launched his first mystery, self publishing from the very beginning and he has now sold over one million copies worldwide!

The question of mixed race and issues relating to marriage of people from different religious backgrounds runs seamlessly throughout my recently released novel.  Having worked all of my teaching life in a multicultural society the came naturally to me and so it has been fascinating to see what other bloggers have to say.

Gregg Garratt writes in his vivid account of the portrayal of race in American much loved films:

Seal Mother by Rose English

Seal Mother ~ A Selkie Tale in Verse is a delightful book telling a familiar story in a unique way. The illustrated poetry is a pleasure to read and reread.

The legends about seals coming to life in human form have inspired and seduced me ever since we moved to Scotland and Seal Mother is so beautiful.

This paperback would be perfect as a gift for a young girl or teenager who appreciates literature, folk tales and poetry. It may even inspire her to write her own.
